Windows Mobile 6.5 owners can now browse, buy and download applications online at the Windows Marketplace for Mobile site.
Microsoft has introduced a wireless sync between the PC and Windows Mobile. Currently the Marketplace does not support Windows Mobile 6.0 and 6.1 but Microsoft has confirmed it will extend the service to these devices "later this month". Marketplace was introduced alongside the new Windows Mobile 6.5 operating system on October 6, 2009. Marketplace for Mobile is Microsoft's Windows Mobile equivalent of the popular Apple iPhone App Store. Microsoft announced today that it has made some important changes to its Windows Marketplace for Mobile.
